Computer Laboratory Rules
- Usage of Cell phones in the Lab is Strictly prohibited. If a student is found using a cell phone it will be confiscated.
- Attendance for practical is compulsory. Also students should be punctual for their practical classes.
- Students should take the backup of their data regularly.
- Do not delete or edit files which do not belong to you.
- No personal data, software should be stored in the PC like snaps, movies, games etc.
- Internet facility is available for educational purpose only. Students should refrain from visiting any social networking sites.
- Students are not allowed in the lab during their regular lecture hours.
- No food or drink will be allowed in the lab. Do not get out of your seat unless permission is granted.
- Students should create their folder with their name and roll number and place it in D: drive. Do not scatter the files on the Desktop. If found they will be deleted.
- Treat your classmates, your teacher and all equipment with respect. Do not talk while the teacher is talking. Come to the lab with clean hands. No banging of the mouse or keyboard. Do not twist the monitors for your neighbors to see.
- Make sure you leave your work area neat and organized. Exit out of all programs, straighten your keyboard and mouse, push in your chair.
- Do not plug in external devices without scanning them for computer viruses.
- Ask permission before print.
- Do not download any pirated software or movies, games etc. No playing online games. Be careful of what you download.
- Report any problems with the computer to the person in charge.
- While leaving the computer lab, shut down the computer properly, by using the shut down option only. Do not switch off the system directly.
