NCC UNIT (ARMY)

NCC unit of Narayan Zantye College of Commerce was established in the year 2019 under 1 Goa Battalion, NCC, Panaji Goa. The aim of NCC unit is to provide suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed forces. It also aims to develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country.

Additionally NCC cadets will have the opportunities to participate in various camps like National Integration Camps, Leadership Camps, Thal Sainik Camp (TSC), Rock Climbing Training Camps (RCTC) etc. The total strength of NCC unit is 52 cadets, comprising of 34 SD (Boy) cadets and 18 SW (Girls) cadets. Alongside completion of their graduate degree NCC cadets can also complete prestigious B and C certificate in NCC. The NCC unit of the college is headed by visionary, dedicated and hardworking Officer Lt. Vaibhav Dhuri. He was commissioned as NCC Officer after undergoing stringent training for 3 months at Officer's Training Academy, Kamptee.
