Description

I am an Assistant Professor of Commerce at Narayan Zantye College of Commerce, Bicholim, Goa, with 8 years of teaching experience specializing in stock market studies, finance, and econometrics. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Commerce from Goa Business School, Goa University, to further enhance my expertise in these areas. My academic teaching experience includes courses such as  Entrepreneurship Development, Accounting for Service Organizations, Principles and Practice of Management, and Business Data Analysis. 

Alongside teaching, I have delivered sessions on business plans and research methodology, providing students with valuable insights into practical business applications. Having used my experience in research I have also guided over 12 undergraduate projects to successful completion, thereby, disseminating knowledge of research ethics and methodology along with honing analytical skills among undergraduate students.

In addition to fulfilment of academic duties, I have successfully attempted to strengthen my leadership and management skills by heading several committees such as NCC (Army), NAAC (Criteria III – Research, Innovations and Extension), NSS, Professional Courses Committees, Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Discipline Committee. Hence, contributing to institutional growth and development.

My engagement with finance and econometrics is reflective of my research interests which align with my academic teaching experience, the result of which is evident through a publication in Scopus-listed journal as well as paper presentation at various national and international conferences. I continue to strive towards achieving perfection in the field of commerce and aim towards striking an ideal balance between theoretical knowledge and the practical applications of this knowledge in an advancing society, hence, providing the tools to students for successful careers.
